XHDATA D-808 vs. Tecsun PL-303

How do they measure up for DXing in LW, MW and SW bands for being able to copy the weak signals in the noisy band conditions?
Anyone who owns the both radios?

Oh - I should have written PL-330. Sorry for the typo in the title.  I think the title is not editable by me or could I?

Hello PDXer,

A very detailed comparison of the Tecsun PL-330 and the XHDATA D-808 model is contained in the 2021 Ultralight Radio Shootout review posted at
https://dreamcrafts.box.com/s/8y6855bnfmy45rnk46mzr7hb4pwjz8u8
The same article also contains detailed reviews on the Radiwow R-108, CC Skywave and Tecsun PL-380 models, as well as grades on how all of these radios perform in AM, FM, SW and AIR sensitivity and selectivity.

Most (all?) of Gary's fine reviews are also cross posted to the IRCA Reprints, so this might be the place for a little public service announcement:

The International Radio Club's Reprints collection of over 1100 articles about antennas, radio propagation, receivers, accessories, plus items of general interest to MW DXers, continues to grow.   We've published an update to the index, at http://dxer.ca/images/stories/2019/irca-reprint-index.pdf , so that everyone can get access to these latest additions.  (also accessible at https://www.ircaonline.org/  /"Free IRCA Reprints" button)

The latest update includes items from DX Monitor up the end of June 2022. as well as many items of interest from elsewhere, used with permission.

Added items in this annual update are marked "(NEW)",  plus there are a few updated articles as well.

Please pass on this information to others as you see fit.

(if you've used the index before, you may need to refresh your browser page to see the latest update, dated December 2022)

....and now back to our regular program.

best wishes

Nick
