Sydney, AUS web sdr

Hi all, I am testing a web tuneable HF/V/U SDR RX in Sydney city running a Pi4 with 2 SDR's, one for HF with a loop antenna, and, the other for V/UHF with a 2m/70cm whip antenna.

The OpenWebRX software does not initially permit continuous coverage, but requires 'profiles' (slices of spectrum) of up to 2 MHz wide to be defined by the admin.
Bands available so far are AM BC 1, 2 and 3, short wave, ham, marine, air and HF and UHF CB.

When you see a vertical signal line on the waterfall, click on it and that will tune the SDR there so you can listen. You can see where the RX is currently tuned by the position of the yellow cursor 'hat' that runs along the top of the waterfall.

In the bottom right hand corner is a grey window. Just below the freqs is a drop down menu that tunes profiles. Towards the bottom of the grey window is 'SQ' for squelch.

If any user changes to a different profile, that changes the profile for all users of that SDR. If you're not interested in the newly selected profile, you may wish to change to profiles covered by the other SDR.

Best enjoyed on a desk top computer. Comments, requests for additional profiles and corrections are welcome.

As a trial, the RX is currently limited to 4 concurrent users so if you can't connect, please try again later.

Thanks, Grant.
