MW Frequency Challenge - Week 16 Results and Week 17 Announcement - 540 kHz

DX Central - Loyd Van Horn (W4LVH)

Greetings!

First, a bit of housekeeping:
  • We have only SEVEN episodes left now of DX Central Live! as we will be running our final episode of Season 2 on Sunday, May 1st.
  • With the arrival of Daylight Saving Time, the start time for DXC Live! is still 1945 CDT Sunday night, but this is now 0045 UTC (Monday morning UTC).
  • I am already making plans to map out Season 3, but wanted to take some time to allow folks to concentrate on FM DX season (which I am still trying to figure out how to livestream FM DX sessions without getting nailed by copyright strikes like I did last year by YouTube).
On to the challenge....

A big week last week with 273 loggings coming in!  Congratulations to Mike Jeziorski in Mexico for taking our top spot this week with 28 loggings!  We also have a new reception distance record and more!  Full recap of week 16 can be found at the link for the blog post, below.

You will also find the link for our Google Form for Week 17 as we explore 540 khz.  An interesting frequency and one that I admittedly have not spent nearly enough time with over the past six months!

Good luck to everyone!
