[irca] has anybody received a QSL from KJJR-880 or KQKD-1380?

As we’ve messaged on the email lists, our priority is to arrange for additional DX Tests before the end of the season. Between us, we have two additional tests that are a strong possibility, but the effort is requiring some “hand holding” with the stations because they are extremely busy with March Madness.

DX’ers must quickly accept the new “norm” of getting QSL replies. Gone are the days when they can expect to receive QSLs quickly or perhaps at all. Constant inquires into when they will receive them, or speculation about who has or has not received them isn’t helpful either. In the case of the KJJR test, I’ve received duplicate reception reports from some DX’ers 5-7 times.

All the work of the CPC is done by volunteers who have full-time jobs, families, and other responsibilities. Verifying receptions from a single test, generating QSLs, and a report for the station can take days of effort. That time simply hasn’t been available yet this season. What I’d like for DX’ers to understand is that patience is going to be a key part of this hobby going forward. It’s 2022, not 1962. The world has changed.

Nothing back yet from KQKD 1380.
