C Crane Skywave SSB vs xhdata808

Hi all,

I already have a xhdata808. Is it waisted money to buy a Skywave SSB. Do they have similar sensitivity when you connect small loop? Thanks

Hi Ola!

I have both an XHdata 808 and a Skywave SSB radio, but not the newest one. They are both good radios and if you couple to a 20" PK loop or 4" FSL, they work very well and you will not notice a difference.. If you just use the built in antennas, the 808 will be a little more sensitive because of the larger antenna. I am happy to have both radios!

I have thought about both of these but have not settled on one yet. The skywave SSB does seem to be a nice radio.
