We have one state trooper based here but he’s not always here and there’s no roads to outside communities here Paul Yeah. I'm pretty rural, too, but they'll do the drive to make sure people aren't getting axe murdered and hanging up/ fumbling with the phone. "Liability", I suppose. Guess they figure if they do a call back, Freddie Kruger will pick up the bloody phone and say "everything's cool". --

They can’t do that here No law enforcement are out here! Paul In my area, they won't call back. They send a Sheriffs Deputy or State Trooper to your door to "check it out" on every hang up or "misdial". --

Well, there’s a first for everything … outside DXing and my iPhone XSMax locked up while trying to access a stream. And I’m my furious attempt to unlock it, I somehow dialed 911 and they called me back…. So I had to then call them back and explain How embarrassing but believe it or not, this is the first time in my life I’ve ever dialed 911 by accident. At least I know the system in my small community works!
