First, let me say I have devoted many hours to listening on this radio since I purchased it one week ago.  The price was very low so for purpose of testing my interest in UL DXing, it was not a waste of money.  Some reviewers complained of poor quality control right out of the box, but in my case some problems did not come to my attention until today.  1) the volume control knob generates a loud buzz at the high end. 2) the digital frequency display is dim. 3) the button that turns on backlighting does nothing. 4) the time set buttons do not work.  The radio detects a lot of MW frequencies, so for my main purpose, it continues to work well.  I will order a new radio tomorrow.
