Radio Size
How hard are you on the size limits? Can a slightly larger radio be used?

The size limits only really apply for the awards program, for general usage and loggings, they are more of a guide. (mostly to stop people with large rack mount radios trying to claim they are "ultralight")

So, as long as it is portable in some way it is okay?

We like to keep close to the size guide but allow discussion of larger radios.

We here in Europe use portable radios fitting in two categories: 1. ULR portables. Size limit 20 cubic inches. 2. Small portables. Size limit 500 cm3 (or 30.5 cubic inches). The rest are big ones, or even 'huge' when they're bigger than 'big ones' ;-) 73! J Jorge Garzón Gutiérrez "IberiaDX" (EB7EFA · EA1036 SWL · BDXC Member 1409) QTH: IN83ag / 43º15' N · 03º56' W Urb. The "official" size rule is only used for the awards program. For the group as a whole, we don't enforce any rules around size, it is more a guide to keep discussion on track.

So, if I don't post about my rack mount RX setup, I am all okay to post about smaller radios? I am looking at some radios in the next week, once the old girl stops spending all my money.
