'Tis summer and good DX at times from the Americas. The year has opened with my PL380 + box loop logging KUDL 1660 Kansas City KS 1kw around 2.a.m. MST 0830UTC with Bloomberg Live in London, numerous investment, DIY, Security and Goldmine ads and ID KUDL AM1650 plus KMBD Business channel. Conditions gave no trace of the usual domination 1660 here KRZI. This catch of 1 kw compliments CJLO 1690 Montreal heard 31 October last.

Great DX as usual, from the "Kiwi King" of the X-band! Your PL-380 and box loop are really having a great summer so far.
After receiving New Zealand stations at local-like levels on the Oregon cliffs last July and August I've been stuck here in a landlocked location, totally shut out from anything south of the Equator (except for 738-Tahiti). I'm starting to feel a little like Theo Donnelly and Tony Ward-- transplanted Kiwis.
