Is there anyone in the group who has experience with the Brazilian RPG loopstick antennas? I'm considering to try to order a "RPG 3" as addition to my recently modified PL-380.

Actually a FSL would be the "dream antenna", of course, but it seems to be difficult to find ferrite rods (with correct size and meterial) at a reasonable prize even on eBay these days.

So, what about the RPG? Seems to be a pretty good compromise, or what?

By the way, the PL-380 modified with a 7.5" loopstick is really, really good. I will post more about this later the upcoming week.
