I didn't know Nature Boy Ric Flair was selling radios on ebay.  I'll bet he doesn't either.

Maybe "beautiful song" in Chinese and "soy sauce" in Japanese.
I'm opting that it is Chinese. I see the price on Ebay is only $15+ postage from Hong Kong,

Shoyu is the black watery stuff (soy sauce) that people over use like salt! May work as a ground plane as the saltiness aids conductivity but as a radio?? I vote that the radio is indeed Chinese.
Sorry, my Japanese is kicking in!

Made in china (I have this radio (the silver one))

HARD to tune a station in the MW & SW. (tiny tuning space).
FM is TOO HARD to tune,
having to play a lot with the tuning weel (up down, up down...........
The Degen de321 is easier to use
but the tuning weel is easy to turn vs the de321.

Steps are 5k --> SW
when tuning, sound mute (cut) between frequencies.
MW are selectabe:
9k/MW 2 (520-1620 khz)
10k/MW 1 (520-1710 khz)

FM1 87-108
FM2 64-87

But MW is more sensitive comparing to the de321
(bigger feritte ???)
SW seems to be a bit better vs the de321.

Sounds is MONO not stereo.
MP3 is also MONO with a HUMM noise.

Kind of heavy.
Thicker than a tecsun r912 or kaito wrx911 but
about the same size.

The sound via the Speaker is a kind nice.

But i don't recomend it for FM use (HARD to tune).

:-)

I forgot... the radio itself feels solid,
also the tuning dial is not "centered"
it will incline when tuning, making it harder to read a frequency...
