Hi Tony,
Thanks for posting the updated list of New Zealand AM stations in our Ultralightdx file section.
Many of those Kiwi stations can produce awesome signals here on the North American west coast during our local summer season (June-September), especially when boosted by a sensitive FSL antenna at Oregon coast cliff sites. These local-like recordings were all made on a Tecsun PL-380 last year at "Rockwork 4" (south of Cannon Beach) and Cape Perpetua (south of Yachats).
567-Radio National (50 kW) at Rockwork 4 Cliff (8-21-12)
594-NZ Rhema (5 kW and 2 kW) at Rockwork 4 Cliff (8-20-12)
603-Radio Waatea (5 kW) at Rockwork 4 Cliff (8-21-12)
657-Southern Star (50 kW) at Cape Perpetua (7-20-12)
684-NZ Rhema (5 kW) at Cape Perpetua (7-21-12)
765-Radio Kahungunu (2.5 kW) at Cape Perpetua (7-20-12)
828-Radio Trackside (2 kW) at Cape Perpetua (7-20-12)
963-Southern Star (10 kW) at Rockwork 4 (8-24-12)

Thanks Gary. One tweak. Add 1269 Classic Hits TX in Takaka Nelson Province with programming from Nelson which is an FM outlet.
Looking from the wrong end of the telescope (Southern Hemisphere to North) US DX has been good on the PL380 lately with the farthest east being WOKB 1680 in Winter Garden FL 1kw. XERF now has a friend on 1570 KUAU in Hawaii loud and clear here most nights with religious offerings, 1050 KTCT In San Mateo CA, 1120 KPNW Eugene OR, 1420 KKEA Honolulu, 1460 KHRA Honolulu, and several other West Coast 50kwers. I note that XEPE 1700 is in SS around midnite PST before taking sports. 1620 WDHP coming up some nights mixed with the Cuban twins, and Mrs Scott keeps going on 1610 from Anguilla with some snatches of CHHA.

A very impressive collection of long-range DX, Tony! Your reception of WOKB-1680 in Winter Garden, FL (1 kW at 8,154 miles/ 13,123 km) on the PL-380 is especially awesome.
DXing the Kiwi stations from North America is a little more challenging, but the FSL antenna + ocean cliff advantage seemed to provide a real breakthrough for New Zealand reception last summer.. 585-Radio Ngati Porou, 828-Trackside and a presumed 936-New Supremo made it through for the first time. Now that 4 of the Perseus-SDR DXers also have Broadband FSL's, there should be some serious attention paid to Kiwi AM-DX this coming summer.
