Hello To All,

As I officially begin my second decade living here in Newfoundland today September 7 , early morning DX conditions seemed decent as I was able to log 4 more stations for the overall ULR logbook

I have also been keeping an ear to 1071 khz the past few days in hopes of catching the recently reported stronger signal of India on that frequency. A better chance may avail itself as we head to earlier darkness as the evenings progress

Propagation this morning was everchanging quickly similar to the previous morning as 2 of the new ones were logged on 1080 half an hour apart. Sunrise once again having an effect

The new ones logged early this morning as follows:


1080 - VENEZUELA - R. Venezuela Universal, Maracay 8:30 UTC Sep 7 Patriotic song or jingle repeating Venezuela several times , Spanish talk , vocal, ID ULR Station # 803

1080 - CUBA - R. Rebelde 8:59 UTC Sep 7 "Aqui R. Rebelde " ID , Havana mentioned , music
ULR Station # 804

1150 - CUBA - R. Bayamo, Bueycito 8:45 UTC Sep 7 woman with what sounded like an official announcement in Spanish with mentions of Cuba then ID
ULR station # 805 Latin Station # 104

Can anyone in Europe confirm if AIR Rajkot is still audible on 1071 kHz? I've been trying to catch them here in Romania, but no trace. Al Nour Radio is dominating that frequency.
