Hi Guys:

Well......my quest to hear 600 ULR Stations by the end of the year is
fading fast!! I DX'd today for 4 Hours....2 Hours at Sunrise, and 2 Hours
at Sunset...and only heard 1 New Station!! I'm stuck at 568 Stations which
means I need 32 More stations in 25 Days.......which works out to 1.28
stations needed for every day left in the year!! My One station heard today
is .28 stations below my quota!! HAHHAHA....

This coupled with working LONG hours the past few weeks has kept me from
progressing as I would like to. I do still have 11 Days off at Christmas
which may help the cause.....but I think I'm still gonna need a few
Horseshoes inserted in the mix!! Pardon the Pun!!! HHAHA..

I'm seeing the Boys in Oklahoma logging New Ones by the Truckload ...and I
can barely scrape up one a day.....what's the deal there!!?? HAHHAHA..

Anyways......I'm not gonna throw in the towel yet......as I may get a few
days where I can log 'em in bunches...sometimes it happens that way....

I'll keep praying to the Propagation Gods....and hopefully things will get
cooking in this neck of the woods!!!

And You guys in Oklahoma.....quit hoggin' all the New Ones!!! HA!!

Hey,

I'm just following the trail of the two real Okies...  they were nice enough to share their logs with me and it seems like every time I hear what I think is a "really neat one,"  I'll check their logs and one (or usually both) of them will have heard it weeks ago.

I never imagined that there could be so many ESPN outlets, nor Radio Disney, either.  Maybe we ought to start an award for 50 ESPN outlets logged :>)

We have a actual social engagement tonight, so I'm shutting down my Ross Challenge effort a bit early.  That as a great invention, Rob!  Why do I think that most of us are sado-masochists???

Rob:

Definitely don't throw in the towel. Just take a deep breath and
charge back into the fray. One reason it is harder for you than us in
Oklahoma is that we haven't heard as many stations as you. Myself,
I'm hoping to make it to 500 by the end of the year. But it's
becoming tougher.

Best of luck.

Did you mean "radio-masochists"? R&M, not S&M. ;)
