On a V-115? Recording?

Firstly to Peter, great catch on this receiver, I keep mine in the car, maybe I'll try it again on AM 🤔. And Michael, what receiver did you use please?

WINS 1010kHz on srf-59, verified on icf2010. I have no recorder.
I often hear WINS at night, with varying readability.

Thanks Drifter
I tried other regular TA stations eg 1130 WBBR but 1010 was the only one audible, I suspect internally generated noise blocks reception somewhat.
Here's one I made a few hours earlier on a larger radio:
23:39 UTC 24th Sept 2022 (00:39 BST 25th Sept 2022) Sangean PR-D14.

This radio lacks 1kHz steps and a narrow IF filter setting but the audio is good, (2kHz heterodyne whistle caused by 1008kHz from Spain)

Michael you missed the point, or course 1010 was received on other radios and my SDR better than on the V-115.

Crossed wires, Peter?

I listen on the srf-59 and sometimes check the frequency on the icf2010.

Sorry if I am missing something obvious, but where were you when you made this recording?

Peter,

Looks like I did miss something obvious when I posted earlier. You did mention that reception was over 5000 Km. I managed to not see that. But it is nice to know you are in Blackpool. I like looking at a globe to see where signals are managing to get, and from where. I assume a TA signal is trans Atlantic? Thanks for the location!
