Didn't know about the HRD 747 so I've just bought one of these. Looks a much better radio that the ATS100 with SSB also, great ! Some good demo's on YouTube swayed my purchase

Thanks well I received mine this morning and initial thoughts are very poor on MW and FM. SW hmm passable maybe but I think it will have to go back. The display is clear and sharp etc but very small.

Just to say my xhdata d808 has the same issue so must be a common fault. I wouldn't mind getting the digitech but at almost twice the price with the new annoying 20% vat added on everything bought out

What do think the chances of the big stations like 2GB and 4BC etc going to FM in the next few years ? I was tuning around the Brisbane airspy server and the FM band certainly doesn't seem overly crow
