best time to Ultralight AM DX
Perhaps this is old news to many of us, but thought I'd pass it along any way, just in case many don't know: sunRISE-set is a GREAT time to AM DX. Even, 5:00am-local sunrise is often a fantastic time

Guys....WBSC 1550 in SC was heard here in northeastern Ohio last night on the SRF-59....at times topping the frequency with high school football. Yes, the two announcers had strong southern accents. A

another SRF-59
Today I purchased another SRF-59 at the Tallmadge (Ohio) K-Mart store. $14.99 + tax. And, they had 2 or 3 of them. So, I now have 2 good 59's, and my original one...with the scratching noise/defective
