Radiwow R-108 "Warranty"
You need to be very specific about what you mean here. I don't know for certain but if you mean "boycott radios manufactured in China" then you will be boycotting all (nearly all?) radios since China

Jay is back reviewing! -FARMERIK
Interesting radio. I wonder why it doesn't cover the entire "Standard Broadcast"? Maybe they found a container of pre-1980s analog tuners and decided to build a product instead of land-filling them?

Portable Radio RXing Session - Tailrace Park - 16/2/2019
I've not studied the situation intensely, but I'm beginning to think that it's the US and Canada (and Mexico, I guess) are the only ones that make a big deal about broadcast callsigns. No one else see

There are prisons that don't allow inmates to have radios with opaque cases. This is the prison version of some other radio.

Random Wire Aerials for AM BCB
For those that have never done the math for the (US) MW band, 1 full wavelength at 1700 kHz is a couple cm over 176 (so a half-wavelength is 88 m and a 1/4-wavelength is 44 m). At the other end, 530 k

I am no expert on this stuff, but that matches what I've read. I was trying to find an article I read about those channels just recently but couldn't put my cursor on it. This one covers it, though: h
