Loop Counterpoises
Thanks Paul! This is really interesting, and I may try the idea with the LoG connected to the ground terminal of a Bonito MegaDipol MD300DX. I don't think it will hurt reception and might actually be

Reliable but reasonably priced sources of ferrite for FSLs?-FARMERIK

Predicting MW Intermod/Bleedthrough
I don't know if this will be of interest, but I've used this web page before to predict true intermod frequencies (3rd order, 5th order, etc.): http://www.arcticpeak.com/radiopages/intermodulationprod

Recent DXing and Experimentation
Hi Gary, Your thoughts are interesting and appreciated! I'd forgotten that John B. was fairly stern and unyielding on the Ultralight definition. I liken the situation to sports rules; too many changes

Improved 1 kHz DSP Audio in New CC Skywave SSB Model
Hi Gary, The recordings from the Skywave SSB sound very nice in 1 kHz bandwidth, something I've noticed in my Skywave SSB also. Do you feel the adjacent channel rejection is as good with the SSB model

Best portable and Ultralight Radios for Domestic DXing?
Agreed! I bought the PR-D5 and PR-D15 at the same time for careful comparisons. The PR-D15 model won out the majority of time for me in weak signal daytime sensitivity and usually in selectivity also.
