Gary, You are right...for anyone outside of Chine such warranties are useless as the costs to return a radio would match or exceed the cost of replacement...this has always been true of buying from Ch

Agreed...many such radios are a crap shoot. I just took a shot and seemed to have been lucky. Funny thing too since I just received another radio to see if it was worthwhile at all...very cheap at $20

I received my Radiwow R-108 yesterday about 21 days after ordering it and am relieved to find that it seems to be performing as it should. To be fair I've only had an hour or so to check it out so far

One thing to be aware of though is that often the clear prison versions lack certain in/out connections or features which are present in teh standard versions. Just FYI.
