One question, when you use earphones, does your internal speaker disconnect? I have noticed with mine that even with earphones connected, the sound still comes out of the speaker

This can happen with earphones used for smartphone ie with mic based that use a 3+1audio plug
Standard l stereo earphones or headphones r disab the speaker audio.
Hope that it helps

This is my review on 115 the time of tivdios tested alrdsal two pieces with 1 year of difference ie 2017  2018

I don't know if this radio has been enhanced since then vbur in short
Too noisy in all bands
Very sharp speaker audio
Same via earphones
Unstable stereo panning during recording
External antenna tuner for MW such as  tecsun an200 greatly enhances reception

Transferred recordings to another gear have good audio.

If anyone can advise me if there are any significant enhances over that time please let me know

I use the second piece for only music playing for me parents WMA seemed not supported at 44kbit

Thanks, I did try some other earphones and they worked fine.

Seven Days In:
The issue I raised above with the earphones has been tracked down to
the earphones I was using and not the radio itself. I have tried it with a different set of earphones and the internal speaker stopped working when I plugged them in. I have tested some more and found with the ones I use the most, if I pull them out a small way (see attached photo) it works. Not sure what I will do as I prefer to use these ones.

I m repeating my previous question with different wording
Did anyone noticed or measured the discharge time of the PL330 battery?
I alrssal counted mine PL380 at around 30 hours with earphones and audio set to 7

Twelve Days In:
Over the weekend I was able to spend some more time using my
Retekess V-115 and found a couple of interesting things:
- The battery meter shows "full" for a decent period of time and then drops off quickly, this caught me out as I took it out and thought it had more charge than it really did.
- The "automatic search and store" works well but requires a good signal level to log a station, the ATS on the AR-1733 works much better and does not need the signal to be as strong.
- I have been unable to get auto power off to work, it shows the right icons but does not actually turn off after the desired time period.

No plans at this stage. MWDXerDB does what I need and I am comfortable programming in JB.

I have made a number of changes which has included adding the required code to support the new ULDXIndex system and these can be added directly to each entry. I have also made some changes to the backend database code and a few minor changes to the windows and layout.
