Over the weekend I was able to spend some more time using my Retekess V-115 and found a couple of interesting things: - The battery meter shows "full" for a decent period of time and then drops off quickly, this caught me out as I took it out and thought it had more charge than it really did.
- The "automatic search and store" works well but requires a good signal level to log a station, the ATS on the AR-1733 works much better and does not need the signal to be as strong. - I have been unable to get auto power off to work, it shows the right icons but does not actually turn off after the desired time period.

Re: Software - MWDXerDB
Thank you for the inforation on this. Have you thought about changing to a more professional system like C++?

Low Power DX Targets
990kHz = 3RN / 500w. Other stations on frequency carry different types of signals or are further away.
1053kHz = Brisbane HPON / 500w. Easy to seperate from 2CA and distance will result in a good index score if successful.
1098kHz = 2RN / 200w. Other stations on frequency carry different types of signals or are further away.
1215kHz = Bowral HPON / 350w. Other stations on frequency carry different types of signals or are further away.
1359kHz = Mildura HPON / 200w. Only station on this frequency.
1485kHz = 5LN / 200w. All low power station, most likely target.
1602kHz = 3WL / 250w. All low power station, most likely target.

Re: Software - MWDXerDB
I have downloaded this and had a look, does it get flagged by your anti-virus program? Mine blocked it until I approved it. What is it coded in?

Do you log directly in to your program or do you do it on paper first and transcribe it?

Re: Air Band Receivers
Paul Blundell
I personally prefer the AR-1733 for my needs but both work well enough.

Re: Loggings - 31/07/2021
Just some feedback, could you list the power the same? Some are in W and some are in KW. These are all above 1000KHZ, was that planned or just how it worked out?

You're doing quite a bit better than I did in Lilongwe seven months ago using an RSPdx and an ALA1530 loop. Of course, that was the height of summer. Perhaps another trip in the winter should be planned?
best wishes, Nick

Do you have personal experiance with these? I find some reviews to be a bit all over the place and not as helpful as I would like. I much prefer to hear from personal experiance.

Re: Operation time on PL330
Zacharias Liangas
Thank you but my question refers to the time the radio can drain the fully charged inbuilt battery from fully charged to" lo bat"at a given audio level
My example My PL 380 can operate around 25 hours with earphones at audio level 6-7 a standard audio level if using Sony in ear buds The DE 1102 can operate ard 8 hours
