All custom coded, it does not use SQL Server.

No, each logging / record is separate in the database so you can't edit multiples at once. I did look at adding this in but the database would not work that way.

When you select edit, it asks if you want to update this. You can then edit any of the fields you want.

I have updated my code to also include the signal level in the formula for working out the ULDXIndex number and added an option to only update this when you want to, before this it would prompt you to update the values every time you edited a record.

Anybody can see the group stats and posts per month. I have been a member since 2011?

I am still on the fence a bit. It does have some good features but the performance of it as a radio is not as good as I would like.

Twenty Days In:
Over the weekend I was able to undertake some more side by side testing of this radio. I ran some tests with both my AR-1733 and TEAC PR130 against this radio. Using both the internal aerials and also trying it with my 3" FSL, the results were not great. Basically the V-115 suffers badly from both internally generated noises across the band and it also picks up weird noises from other household appliances. Using 3GG on 531kHz as a reference station, the V-115 performed the worst out of the three radios, even with the use of my 3" FSL, it still struggled to pull in much of a signal on this frequency. Going across the band and checking a number of other stations, the results were sadly repeated. The 3" FSL seems to cause a number of issues with the V-115 being unable to handle this. My TEAC PR130 overall performed better and handled the 3" FSL easily.

My AR-1733 is easily the best performed out of the three and I will be using this as my main DX'ing radio from now on. The recorder in the V-115 will still be used at times, mainly with the line-in feature.

Several IDs in one minute. I wish every MW station did this!

The really astronomical indexes come from low-powered Longwave aeronautical beacons (NDB's) received at ranges over 10,000 km across the equator. 362-WK in Whakatane, New Zealand (25 watts at 11,017 km from Manzanita, Oregon) results in a wacky index of 440.68, while 366-SF in Springfield, New Zealand (50 watts at 10,977 km from Manzanita, Oregon) results in a more modest 219.54.

The best medium wave DX index at the same Rockwork Cliff would be for reception of 558-7BU in Burnie, Tasmania, Australia during the August 2017 DXpedition. That 2,000 watt station was received at 13,128 km from Manzanita, for a very modest index of 6.56.

Can you edit multiples at once?

When you select edit, it asks if you want to update this. You can then edit any of the fields you want.

So that pops up when you go to edit an entry? Can you edit just this or do you have to edit all the fields?

Update: 06/08/2021
I have updated my code to also include the signal level in the formula for working out the ULDXIndex number and added an option to only update this when you want to, before this it would prompt you to update the values every time you edited a record.

Re: 855 Spain RNE Murcia Barefoot Etón Elite Traveler 04:24 UTC 8th Aug 2021

Jorge Garzón <iberiaDX@...>

RNE Cantabria is the more powerful one, day and night. Murcia gives half the power at night. As you know, not always the close one is heard first, or the more powerful one.

The first RNE Radio Nacional regional slot is at 05;45 UTC workdays and includes local ID.

Loggings - 06/08/2021 - Take 2

Paul Blundell

These were logged between 7:45pm and 8:30pm at home, using my AR-1733 and 3" FSL. I was targeting a mix of lower power stations and a couple of South Australian stations which I had not logged in a while.
