Tecsun PL-310 vs Sonys?
Howdy all, I'm a long time Ultralight DXer in Southern California, aided by my trusty Sony SRF-T615 and 7600GR; I've owned this pair for several years now and haven't seen the need for another radio,

Cant wait to see the 1.5v designs, Phil!
Anything above 3v should be outlawed as EHT :-)

Hi Dan, welcome to the group,
No, I've never heard of the "Denver" brand here in the USA. I agree, probably a re-badged Chinese model; looks very similar to the R-911, R-9012, etc.
Regards,
Keith

Phil, thanks for these very useful links.
Close to my qrp ideal!
Budget problem solved :
sell Tecsun, buy ferrite for FSL,
build own super-uldx-rx :-)

Re: More Radio Articles and Designs
Phil, do you post your single tube(valve!)/transistor designs anywhere?
Or do you know of websites that feature this aspect? Some would
doubtless even fit the uldx dimensional requirements!

Phil,
What I meant to say is that the S/N meter doesn't work when offset tuned. The RSSI meter still works in this case.
I tried using offset tuning with my PL-380 last night on SW. For me, the best

thanks Gary. guessing: the signal meter may look in a specific region for the carrier amplitude. that's how my FFT-based program, PhilSCAN, worked.
