An amazing list considering he used only the Radiwow barefoot...really shows how the skill of the user is at least as important as the quality of the equipment. You gotta respect that!

Re: Mobile Table Top
I just googled Folding Card Table and found several with widely varying prices but the basic tables start at $30 and go up. Mine is a Samsonite which is about 30 years old and it has a vinyl soft top

Now that sounds like a great idea. I would be very keen. The world wide ultralight Radio DXing field day?

Wow! that's such excellent stuff. I do think it should be mandatory on every purchase ;)
BTW: here's the link for downloadable files, including the Listeners guide:

Ji,
Great work from Martin!!
Perhaps there is not an evident two-way propagation happening every time we listen to the band. Theorically everything is possible, bit how and when almost impossible to

At or just before local sunset would exclude the South American inland signals, and sunset on a Rio beach would be very romantic :)

Re: March 2021 South American Ultralight DXpedition by Martin Butera
Not too many TA splits are going to show up on the Rio beach at local sunrise :-)
I meant local sunset-- a side effect of DXing in Hawaii, where Africans and Middle East DX can show up at either local

Peter,
Martin was on a vacation with his wife to the Rio beach, so he may not have been very aggressive going after the 9 kHz TA splits around local sunrise.
My wife was with me on the Hawaii trip in

Hello Gary,
If I can get Rio from Botswana on a barefoot ultralight, then it should be possible for Martin to get Botswana. It is a pity Namibia doesn't have MW stations, but there are some near Cape

Thanks Paul and Sudipta,
Martin was only using the internal loopstick on an Ultralight-sized Radiwow R-108 portable right on the Rio de Janeiro beach with all the locals blasting away-- so he did

That is an excellent report and some great loggings, it sounds like it was very successful for them.
The photo is also nice to see.

It is a 26 page booklet which covers an introduction to medium wave and shortwave radio plus some information on their various radios and some connect the dots on the last few pages.--

Re: Retekess V-115 FM/AM/SW Radio Review – July 2021
Six Days In:
Yesterday I focused on the FM band. Running some side by side comparisons showed that this has the edge over the AR-1733 for audio quality but the AR-1733 was able to pick up more

In the past I have picked up a few stickers and the like. I did get a few keyrings at one point. Most are in the basement so I will need to dig them out.
