Re: HLCA 972 Vs KFBX 970 With 2 FSL's
Well done Paul! The best technique is that, phasing, enhancing or nulling. Not just reserved to big antenna arrays or huge loops, but also with inducted signals. Thanks for bringing it here.

Sangean SR-500W DSP tuning
If you are not familiar with the Sangean SR-500W, I imagine you are not alone. Unique mw/ fm/ wx radio already discontinued. It has some quirks. But it does have DSP tuning. Definitely below

HLCA 972 Vs KFBX 970 With 2 FSL's
With two FSLs, you can do some real good nulling.. if takes a little bit of experimenting, patience along with trial and error.
KFBX is on 970khz about 250 miles NE of me with 10kw Non Directional

MWLIST is a powerful tool designed to serve to DXers as a logbok, radio database and real-time catches. DXer can narrow its interest to the apropriate geographical area, check last-minute stations

Re: CC Pocket - not so deaf after all
Excellent post post and a really good point, I have found with some of my radios that inside the house they preform VERY differently to when they are used outside.

Hi Isaac,
That's a great idea and it is already going on. It's called MWLIST and also FMLIST for higher bands. Access is free but you have to register to get the powerful tool it

CC Pocket - not so deaf after all
I mentioned recently that the CC Pocket seemed a bit deaf. Well maybe not so dependent upon where or how you listen. It is definitely deaf inside the house having to deal with much electrical

Online Live Logging Website
I have an idea, I know some amateurs have this sort of system setup.
A live online logging website where in near real time, you can see what stations other people have logged recently. Would this idea

Something like this would work:

Not a recommendation as I have never used it, but the concept
