Any interest in a USA Northeast DXpedition this fall?
I'm landlocked in western New York state and get so jealous when I read about all those TP @ TA loggings....
So, thinking about a ocean beach trip for a weekend or similar (Fri-Sun) dxpedition.

Re: TECSUN R-2010 link-FARMERIK
I noticed the analog tuned DSP IC has Bass and Treble control functions. Might end up in a 'lunch box' size radio too? I would miss the Tropical SW bands, and LW would have been nice, but it still is

At the SiLab website, I thought I saw some sort of development board for $50 each. That might be very interesting for the experimenters here. As noted no LW or SYNCH/SSB, but I would like it with

SiLab's datasheet for the new series "wheel tuned" DSP IC used in this Tecsun radio has been available since about the first of the year. I don't see anything on it that changes the AM or FM

Oops! Yes, I meant R-2010. There is data on the web, as you
link. I was wondering if it is available anywhere yet.
I wonder why they chose "2010" :-)

Re: My new ultralight
Any sightings of the Tecsun R-210?
I cant find dimensions, so it may not
qualify as a ul-rx, but it would be interesting
to know how the new Si4831 chip compares
with the antique Si4734...
Anybody

My new ultralight
Hi all,
Last night I bought a new ultralight here in Shenzhen. Strangely the local stores don't carry many ultralight models (or larger radios), given that they are made a short distance from here

Hi Phil,
The 7" FSL (designed for MW coverage) uses 20 turns of the 660/46 Litz
wire, and each turn takes 23" of wire. Ordering 45 feet of the Litz wire should be more than sufficient, assuming that

Two new stations to report from my SR DXing session. Tnx to a tip from my neighbor, Richard Allen, these two stations were logged even though neither of them was what I was trying to hear. That's cool
