Re: FM Ultralight DX'er with RDS?
So far as I know, no such animal exists. One has to go bigger to get RDS.

Must it be Chinese plus silicon lab's chip
I am actually the owner of two made in china radios both being from the House of Degen. a. DE1103 and b. DE17. What I am beginning to wonder upon reading the postings along the lines of longwave is

FM Ultralight DX'er with RDS?
Hey group, how ya all doing?
I tried to search our group but did not see much about this topic.
What is a good FM Ultralight Candidate that has RDS too?
What do most use? Or maybe no such animal

Re: Si DSP in Sangean ATS-909X
Nice photo and that answers my question. I have noticed that Sangean is apparently only using 2 of the available bandwidths. That seems like a waste but perhaps that is due to LCD constraints

Si DSP in Sangean ATS-909X
I wonder if the Sangean ATS-909X is using the Si4735. It doesn't seem pratical for them to use a 4734 and another device for RDS decoding since the 4735 has RDS decoding built-in. Does anyone know

There is no serial number inside the battery compartment. I found another label in the package which probably contains the manufacturing date: 20110916.

Hello,As per details given by Silab
The Si4734/35 supports the longwave(LW)band from 153to279kHz,in either version( B20/D60).
But my PL390 manual specifies LW 153-513 kHz,and that's what radio shows
