Hi Guys:
Just in from round 2 on the deck...and the only thing of note is a UNID on 207 Khz....If anyone knows who this may be....Please let me know!!

Out on the deck early tonight...about 2230 UTC...Nice Weather 38 Degrees F, no wind thankfully.
Conditions still don't seem real hot, but I managed a New Beacon just as I was gonna pack

I'm not sure because I don't have a 390, but as far as I know the 398MP is just a 390 with an MP3 player.

AM DX with a Tecsun PL-398MP
Hi all,
The Tecsun PL-398MP may not be an ultralight like some of its other brothers (and I believe it only fails because it's a little too big due to the second speaker) but it's a darn good AM/FM

past 24 hours, your new antenna must be workng fine!

Well....I managed to get out on the back deck tonight with the FSL Antenna. The Rain we had yesterday (Which totalled almost 3 Inches!!) has stopped...the Snow that covered the Ground

I have one, and really like it. It has essentially the same performance as the Quantum Loop, which also has a 7-8" ferrite. The Twin Coil may allow a few extra turns of wire to be put on,

Paul- I found the article very helpful, and it gave me new ideas to try.
I just try strong stations to see if the loop picks up signals off the openings or against the sides of the windings set up
