Looking at the SiLabs datasheet 3420-BAN8-117 34=Si4734, 20= firmware revision 2.0. B= revision B Die,
AN8= internal code. 117 = Year and Workweek so 2011 and 17 Workweek. So it look like there

I just had a look at some higher resolution pics (thanks Gary!).
That missing shielding doesn't just shield the oscillator circuitry, I'm pretty sure that little square black chip above the watch
