Re: CC Pocket Radio - Anybody Using This Radio?
Hi, I just joined the group. I see that this was posted about a year ago.
My name is Ward. Just want to share about this radio. I too use a CC-Pocket. I find the 2.5 kHz narrow band the most helpful

Re: Logging Radio Receiver
Thanks Guy.
Where I was planning on placing this would not be suitable to run a laptop or tablet. I might have to look at doing this a different way.

Re: Logging Radio Receiver
Hi Paul,
It would be really neat if there was a stand-alone receiver that monitors and logs signal strength over time, but nothing like that exists to my knowledge. You'd need to interface a receiver

Hans,
It's very similar(same coil, frame, etc..) to the pl-380 "supercharging" instructions Gary provided. The thicker litz wire doesn't want to fit where it gets soldered to the board but if you

Thanks for the reply.
I am not really keen on an SDR, I was looking for something self contained.

Re: Logging Radio Receiver
Hi Paul,
Signal strength logging is a feature built into some of the freeware SDR radio programs. A marker is placed on the frequency of interest and a log file is made with the tracked signal

Radio Sky Pipe is used top collect data on Jupiter, but it can be used for many things... It takes the received data and averages it to give a trend.... But you'll need a computer too...(PC).

A halfhearted sunrise enhancement around 1500 brought some low and high band Asians out of the noise for a few minutes this morning, but none of them ended up sounding very vibrant before

Logging Radio Receiver
Hi,
Something I have been thinking about is if it is possible to buy a radio receiver which can log received signal strength over a period of time?
I am thinking of placing it on a high mountain

Re: KDUN AM 1030
I'd have to think about that definition.
KDUN's transmitter location is inland along a river that empties into the Pacific.
KNX (1070) would then qualify as a coastal transmitter even though it is
