Hi Tim! I made one and from my point of view, it's a good radio for local stations but for dx?...na!! you need a good antenna boost like fsl antenna that i have tried and the stations are too close

Just a thought, use a wall charger they are fairly cheap and you don't have to worry about damaging your radio by charging the batteries in it. You also don't have to turn on your computer to charge

It measures 5 5/16" Wide x 3/7/16" High x 1 3/8" Deep with rod protrusion...the case itself is slightly slimmer.

I believe Tao is out of business on eBay (and has been for a year), however you may want to look at AnonCo. I've had better luck with them and the reply to questions quickly.
