Gary, this one looks reproducible with scavanged MW radio ferrite bars.
I would just take pot-luck with the foam :-)
Could you please post an end-on jpg or sketch showing the

Re: 3" and 2" FSL Tecsun PL-380 Models-- 1575-VOA Reception A/B Comparison
Sounds like virtually the same signal on both the 3” and 2” FSL’s. So for 3 less 100 mm bars (i.e. 8 versus 5 Ferrite Bars) resulting in a lighter weight, the same signal is heard - hard to

2" FSL Tecsun PL-380 TP-DX for 3-25 (Conclusion)
As reported previously, Asian propagation cooperated very well for the first TP-DXing test of a new 2 inch "Baby FSL" Tecsun PL-380 model (having 5 of the Russian surplus 100mm ferrite bars, instead

This might be really handy for me since I am setting up a spread of BOG antennas and seeing on a map the direction for each log would help judge the real patterns they have. Topaz Designs shows

As far as I know, "W" is for weather. The PR-D4W picks up the NOAA NWS VHF Hi weather channels in the United States.
