Looking at their web site, there's what appears to be the original 1530, they also list a 1530LF and a loop with a high gain, low noise preamp - the 1530LNPro. Any recommendations on which of the 3

Puyallup, WA Ultralight TP's for 11-29
Asian signals seemed somewhat more healthy this morning here than in Colin's version. A fairly good sunrise enhancement boosted 1566 and 1593 up to respectable levels around 1505, although 1593-CNR1

It wasn't exactly a stellar morning for Asians. After finishing some late night antenna work at 1300 a quick check of the band was made, and 1566-HLAZ had a fair to good signal at 1305, along with

Re: Eton Travelr III
I have just acquired the Eton Grundig Traveler lll.
I like it a lot so far. It has very nice sensitivity on MW.
Nulling is it's specialty, in my opinion.

Re: WHVW on 950 in the log
There was at least one weaker station competing with WHVW for about ten minutes around the top of the hour (6 PM EST) and then WHVW just faded away.
Thanks for the trivia... very cool!

Re: Polydoroff, what went wrong?-FARMERIK
FARMERIK,
Even 330/46 Litz wire would be fine if you need more room. I could never tell any difference between 660/46 and 330/46 Litz wire in any of my experiments. The 660/46 is nice if you want more

Is see no problem with 2", or there about, coil spacing. 1", I think, would be too close.

I would like to do that. This odd 3 coil [9-16-9] is working very nicely. I was only able to have 2 inch spacing with 4 coils and 3 inch spacing with 3 coils using #18 wire. I plan to do some more
