Re: Meet the 3" FSL Tecsun PL-380
Thanks, Gary. I see there are also FSL plans in the files section that use 65mm bars end-to-end. This seems like a feasible option, and should be fun to experiment with.

Brett,
I have done it may times with bars, so there is no reason that rods, end to end, won't work. Just butting them up will work fine, or you can Supper glue the ends together.

4 coil Poly, 12 inch coupler & Fisher AM80
Definitely not an ULR, but interesting.
In only about an hour and a half I got all these logs-
WNYC NYC 820 KHz 930Watts 130 miles
WFTL West Palm Beach FL 850 KHz 24KW 1170 miles
WHCU Ithica, NY

Re: "Spiked" Mini-FSL Antennas
Thanks Gary. I haven't even wound the 660/46 Litz coils yet, and the stacked toroid Polydorof 4 coil is doing very well, so it will be really something with 1162/46. I am using a 20-400 cap with a 6:1
