I think it is that there are two possible reasons:
1/ Domestic broadcast stations - should not/are not - -received/receivable - outside the domestic jurisdiction so no need to follow

To me the second recording is always just noticeably better than the first 15 seconds. I am curious what that white noise which varies in strength is. It's not familiar to me. Is it common on the west

Thanks to all who replied, to the group and privately, about this; the replies were enlightening. Apparently the US is in the minority in strictly following the international call sign prefix

I can't locate a UK supplier, only US. Apart from shipping cost,
I would fear breakage en route from the US :-)

7.5 inch Amidon Loopstick Vs. 200mm R40C1 Loopstick
Since the beginning of the Ultralight Radio boom in early 2008, the most popular modification (by far) has been the replacement of a midget stock loopstick with a 7.5 inch Amidon ferrite rod-based

Are you sure that the problem is the ferrite antenna and not the input damaged or desensitized?
Wait and try again to see if it recovers by itself and if the problem persist try to connect it to a air

Replacement AM antenna for a Tivdio V-111
I have a Tivdo V-111 (same as Vite VT-111) and opened it up to see what my options were for improving MW reception. Somehow, I must have damaged the coil because now the MW band is virtually dead. Any

Thanks for the information.
I am actually in Tasmania. I already have my local frequencies programmed, I am now working on documenting the active frequencies for other areas.
