The weather report and its presenter sounds much like the very detailed reports given on 4KZ. I could only conclusively identify 'showers and thunderstorms' and 'SE winds', a common forecast

Basically the same as the G Maynard "Spiral Loop with Q Multiplier" from the 1980's, with ferrites added. :^)
His design was balanced, with a centre tap half way up the windings which went to the

If I recall correctly the ferrites used for EMI suppression on data cables are designed to be lossy. In otherwords the RF energy travelling along the cable should turn to heat in the
