590 Radio Nacional Costa Rica received on E100 Slider! [update]
I see that the Cuban broadcast on 590 kHz is Radio Musical, and a Google search turned up ID's for them as Radio Musical *Nacional*. The time of reception is also very close to Havana sunrise.

Good catch Brandon, I'll have to give a try. That is if I can get
passed the QRM from KXSP and Radio Musical.
Good DX.

590 Radio Nacional Costa Rica received on E100 Slider!
While doing a bit of early morning DX with the T615, I was looking for Nebraska on 590 at 1200 UTC. There was a Spanish speaker dominant on the frequency which I initially presumed was a as yet ULR

Re: C.Crane SWP Ultralight Radio
Hey Gary/Gary:
Maybe the Radio Shack #42-2559 volume control to the rescue? With this
you could turn the SWP up a fair bit and save on the ENT bills.

Re: DT-400W alignment
Thanks for the detailed comments, Gary. The splash above and below
local strong stations is quite assymetric; and it's getting more
annoying. It's at least 1 KHz off. The radio is under warranty, and

DT-400W alignment
Just got a Sangean 400W from Buy.com and am comparing it head to head
with my original, old DT-200V.
Sensitivity seems comparable; frankly I at first blush I can't detect
the described difference

Thanks for your comments. The pushbuttonvolume controls on the C.Crane SWP are quite awkward, and certainly won't winthis model any ergonomic points. My two new SWP units do indeed
