Re: Two good catches on a barefoot ETÓN ELITE TRAVELER 25-05-2021
No, you're not wrong they are, don't buy it.
The Eton Elite Executive should sell for that sort of price, the Traveler should be less than half that price.
The older Eton Traveler III has the same

Re: Good source for 18650 batteries?
Totally agreed about the drain from the digital clock. The XHDATAs that I have require recharging every two to three weeks even if they are not otherwise used. That's why I think there's a problem.

Of late I have noticed that this station which is 50km away and runs 5kw is being over taken by a 10kw station from 2200km away.
I suspect that the local station has dropped power or has other issues.

DXing FM Bluetooth Transmitters
Of late I have been looking for some new targets, has anybody tried or thought of hunting down the small FM transmitters that are used to connect a Bluetooth phone to the car radio?
If so, what sort

I ran a three way test on the weekend, this might help a bit:

Thanks Jay, I have found that my TEAC PR130 seems to draw down the batteries a bit, even when turned off.

Re: Improving Pocket UL FM reception
I did it Jay, but I didn't find a noticeable improvement. I must say that I have to test better both filters on FM, as there are better stations to be chosen and test.
Narrow/wide positions are useful

Hello Jorge,
Are you sure you have the correct radio? Those prices are way too high. The Eton Elite Executive is NOT the same radio as the Eton Elite Traveller!

Everything has become more complicated now, what I do not understand
Amazon UK has a price of 107 pounds and do not serve to the Continent!!!!
Amazon Spain offers the receiver for 135 €.

Re: FM DXing - Sangean PR-D18 vs CCRadio-2E - Simple Side-by-Side Test
Right Jay! Well, I browsed the internal PR-D19 receiver but not a P18. Are their ferrites identical?
On the other hand, is there a good way to extra screen internal circuits by wrapping copper

I bought mine from Amazon UK in 2019 when it was on special offer for GBP 37.
Maybe Amazon ES might stock it?

Re: FM DXing - Sangean PR-D18 vs CCRadio-2E - Simple Side-by-Side Test
It may be a matter of how low the noise floor is in your area but when I compare the PR-D18 and PR-D19 I get slightly better AM reception on the PR-D19.

Re: Good source for 18650 batteries?
As Jay pointed, I don't remove batteries but havevin mind that I do not have dozens of radios to use. I have a couple of them, a Panasonic RF-2200 and a Grundig Yacht Boy 300, both with batteries

For radios I use with any regularity I don' remove the batteries...too inconvenient. I only had the two radios which drained batteries fast while off (they would be down in a few days) were both
