Re: Kaito KA11 Ultralight Radio
I have the KA-105, the Kaito version of the DE-105. The
radio is a "pocket portable" but it is definitely NOT a
DX machine. My local stations take up 20-40 kHz of the
band. Selectivity is poor.

Re: Kaito KA11 Ultralight Radio
As I understand it, The DE11 is (was?) the replacement for the DE105, a pocket radio which very much resembles the overall design (but not performance) of the original pocket digital, Sony ICF-SW1.

Re: SRF - 59 backlash, receiver replaced by seller
Despite initial listening daytime and nightime yesterday, I feel I have misalignment in this replaced unit, which corrected the backlash. Mainly in the 600KHz area. It also has the earlier reported

My apologies...I meant to type that the station is in Ireland, not Scotland as I put in the subject line.

Radio North DX Test - Scotland
Ken Baird in Scotland sent me this information and asked that I publicize it. Who knows...maybe Gary "Clear Channel" Deacon in South Africa will log this!

Congratulations to Kirk Allen
Congratulations to Kirk Allen on reaching 500 stations with the ULR's . As Richard Allen mentioned prior it sure is tougher as you go along but that's the fun part of digging in there for new ones,

Congratulations Kirk
Congratulations Kirk on logging the big #500.
For those who haven't yet reached 500 let me tell you it gets harder to hear new stations the longer you listens. This is especially true in a RFI noisy

Very nice recording,Horatio! The SRF-59 sounds like a great ULR. I have the Eton E100, but may haveto buy a SRF-59.

Today, I posted in ConDig list YG, the reflector where DXers in S. Am (and also other Spanish speaking people) gather, a rather illustrative report in Spanish about ULR (taking material from DXers.CA
