Re: A little help with another Unid station....
Jay;
The Quantum QX definetly gives the E-100 a BIG boost as well as my ICOM R-70..I just got the antenna and coupler last Friday and am in a 'Learning Curve' with it...when I do get it tuned

E100 and Beverage Antenna
Has anyone used an E100 inductively coupled to a Beverage antenna? If so,
was there any overloading? I would like to finally get the 7.5" slider mod
done, mount it on a suitable piece of lexan and

I'm sure the QX gives it a bit of a boost.
I should have mentioned there may be a time factor on Radio Enciclopedia. The only reason you can hear them this far north is that Radio Vision Cristiana

Give a listen on 530 with the antenna pointed in the same direction. At night you should be able to pick up some nice music. I've not positively ID'ed it from the Chicago area, but it sounds just like

I used to live in Florida. Radio Reloj was a real pest, popping up all across the dial. Some nights it seemed like they had every frequency covered. So I'm VERY familiar with it. :-)

"Reloj" means "clock", so it's actually "Radio Clock". Radio Red would be "Radio Rojo".
The di-dah-dit di-dah-dit (RR in Morse code) at the top of every minute makes it very easy to identify. I

Glenn:
From the your description, I'd say you heard Radio Reloj from Cuba. Most references give its location at Santa Clara, with 30 kW. It broadcasts continuous news in Spanish with a time signal

Gary,
Thanks for the BOG vs. elevated Bev. comparison.
The Jogenstat clip was interesting as well. Perth coming in over 5000 miles away on your Frg-7 sounded as robust as a local. I am a Frg fan.
