I have a Grundig M400, which looks just like the DE15. I don't think it has a DSP chip, however. It's not a very strong performer on MW. I used it one or twice and then put it away.

The Si4734 is a very clever and complex chip at the digital and engineering level and has many facets. However the designers have been able to remove most of the complexity for the person
