Russell,
Awesome job!! That particular Residence Inn must have "magical DX powers!" When the wife and I go back to DFW (which we do about 2 times a year), I'll strongly suggest that we stay

Re: PL-360? anyone have one yet?
Hello Farmerik,
The Tecsun PL-360 is one of the new models here, but unfortunately therehasn't been time yet to tinker around with external air core loops directlyconnected to the plug-in jack.

dx'ing from train
hi Tony,
when i tried dx'ing from inside my van, the signals were all weak, but holding the radio outside the van, made a very big difference in signal strength. you wouldnt expect glass to attenuate

New UL Log- WTVN-610
I pulled out my PL-310 this morning to do some DXing at about 0645 but fell asleep until about 0705, when I heard:
610 WTVN Columbus OH, 0700, woke up to weather with “Doppler 10 Radar”,

UL DXing has been lean lately with few new stations, but things may be starting to pick up again with two new stations over the last two days on the PL-310:

Re: SONY SRF-29 ?'s
Do dumps still sell radios ??
Some auto radios could be quite good but was not sure anybody was still interested enough in these parts for junk yards to save such.
