Longwave Broadcasting
I'm glad to see some interest in LWBC. The service is restricted to 153-279 kHz. While it is supposed to use 9-kHz spacings, there are a few off-channel stations in Europe. Here's a list of stations

Re: PL-360 arrives- FARMERIK
Stephen,
A couple of points:
1) An RSSI/SNR of 37/02 is quite common. This could be from atmospheric or man-made noise, or from antenna noise. All loop antennas are basically limited in their SNR

I would be curious to hear if you get anything REAL on LW, other than beacons, with either antennae. I'll be checking from the East soon! Thanks - FARMERIK

Re: Tecsun PL-360 7.5" Plug-in Loopsticks-- Project Update
I'll be giving it a try on LW too! Once you switch to include LW on the PL-360, it tunes 150-1620 as one band, in 9 or 1 kHz. steps, depending on how fast you turn the thumb wheel. I had wondered

I guess you nailed it. I heard WEWN on 454, and they said they were broadcasting on 11250? Not sure I didn't mix up the last three digits. So that was an image.
Also, sounded like Hams on 388, and

I have absolutely no idea what the numbers mean. I just did the scan quickly because conditions might change in the early evening. I started typing the message, and entered the numbers as I got them.
