What's this 1610-Anguilla station you're referring to? Around here, all I get on 1610 is either static, atmospheric noise, or hints of TIS's, even though I'm far enough away from the nearest TIS on

So far I've either hand held the PL-360 or placed it on its back while DXing. Because its base is so small (53 x 23 cm, or 2 x 7/8 inches) it's easily tipped over. Therefore, I would

Gary's antenna holds the radio at an angle, so it is easy to see the display and controls laid on a table or 'turntable'. It is a very convenient set up. - FARMERIK

Re: Some random observations on the PL-360
Hi Richard,
Your suggestion certainly makes sense. It's better not to takechances, especially with an antenna longer than the PL-360 itself :-)

Re: Some random observations on the PL-360
I was going to ask this in a new thread, but this seems to kind of fit here. I have a PL-360 on order and Gary has been kind enought to agree to build one of his 7.5" amidon plug in loopsticks fro me.

Hi Phil,
Actually the PL-360 7.5" plug-in loopsticks have a rubber hose lockingsystem which fits over the whip antenna tip, so you are free to tip the radioany way you wish, without the loopstick

Some random observations on the PL-360
I've played with my Pl-360 for little over a month, and thus far I'm not disappointed with it.
