1) I see no reason why one wouldn't be able to log 100 stations on AM within a week in any major metro.

Correction for FARMERIK:
For an FT140-61, wrap 60 turns on the secondary and 6 turns of the bifilar primary to get a total of 12 turns when you solder the ends together.
A 54 (not 76) turn secondary
