Re: Tecsun PL-360 7.5" Plug-in Loopstick Technical Article
Gary,
Thank you for the article and the work on this antenna! I've used the 7.5" ferrite rod on the PL-380 (non-plugin version). It works really well and gives good, pinpoint nulls on locals

Thanks Jim! That was Part One. For Part Two I'd like to do a nighttime demo if the lighting is right. Also, I'd like to plug in the box with the 365pF cap inside and show the demo with inductive

Hi Scott,
The Hoop Loop will work on any radio that has a Si4734 in it.
I tried it out last night and noticed gain is phenominal! The weakest signal on any channel was 58dbu! And, I heard two

Re: Hoop Loop Demo on Youtube
Nice build-up and demo of the hoop-loop, Chris. Thanks.
It should be pointed out that with the right connector, this should make a fine antenna for the PL-360 as well.

Re: Tecsun PL-360 7.5" Plug-in Loopstick Technical Article
Gary always made it very clear, the PL-360 wasn't much of a ULR DXing rig WITHOUT plugging in an external antenna, then he went out and built and offered for sale very reasonably an excellent compact

Dave,
There's a Catch-22 concerning getting away from QRM in the house. During winter when AM radio reception is best it's too cold to go outside and listen. Then, in the summer months it's warm
