I'm a bit closer to the ocean than you - somewhere around 12 to 15 miles or so, depending on which coastline you "point" to... which is close enough to be able to hear faint signals on a few high-band

any idea which FM radio chip the iPod Nano uses?
BTW, Microsoft's Zune HD (based on Siport chip) can reportedly record the broadcasts, too.
