In my continuing quest to fill 'holes' in my log, I am finding stations using antenna beamed in the opposite direction from my listening post. Is there a common name for that? [null of pattern? just

This morning I did a little comparing of the PL-606 with the PL-310 and PL-360. On the medium wave band the 606 did

Sad to watch the big boys go isn't it Paul? Thanks for refining my closing date for this classic transmitter. Lots of European medium level traces on my "Guilty pleasure" Perseus/K9AY last night, but

Oklahoma TP's 11-19-10
I listened for TP signals at 1231-1322 UTC. I heard only a few weak carriers (heterodynes) on 594, 693, 747, 774, 828, 872 and 1566.
I hope signal propagation improves by the time those listening on

Hi Michael,
Well, the discovery of ocean cliff TP propagation came quiteaccidentally last July, as my family booked five days at a LincolnCity, Oregon motel, about 5 blocks from the Pacific Ocean.
