[IRCA] Grayland logs from August 19, 20, 21, 22
Sorry,
I meant to have sent these out earlier. All receptions were on an E100modified with a 2.6 kHz Murata IF filter and connected directly to aWellbrook Phased Array pointed either NW to Asia or SW

Re: Robert Ross 30 Day Challenge
Congratulations Allen, logging 300 stations in only a few days is
quite an accomplishment. I'm still hoping to log 300 within six
months. Maybe I need to come to the shore of Newfoundland.

Results of hunting for TP's
Is it possible that at the beach starting about half an hour before
sunrise I heard more than two dozen TP carriers on a barefoot Sony
2010? They were all pretty weak and none yielded any audio. I

Hi Dennis,
The TP's this morning sounded pretty anemicto me, compared to yesterday. When chasing TP's with stock Ultralights, you are really at the mercy of propagation. If you had tried

Re: International MW DXing with Ultralights
I can hear Radio Reloj under WWL 870 almost every night.
Discovered them while listening to WWL's coverage of
Gustav. Had never heard a RR outlet there before.

Bahamas 1540 In Tonight
Getting Bahamas-1540 in well, with R&B-type mx, IDs as "National Voice of the Bahamas" and "Bahamas Radio Network", also with some hurricane info. Have them barefoot on the SRF-59 at 2015 EDT.

Re: International MW DXing with Ultralights
Yup! The SRF-59 was inside a passive loop, but RVC had taken the channel
over, so it would have been receivable barefoot that night.
